Had an awesome stay! The breakfast spread was top-notch, especially the fresh fruit salad and full English. Aidan and Craig were super welcoming, making us feel right at home. Only minor quibble was a small rip in the curtains, but it didn’t ruin our vibe at all!

Delicious food and friendly hosts
The warm welcome from Craig and Aiden made our stay unforgettable! Breakfast was a delight, and the dinner menu featured local flavors that left us wanting more.
While the room was comfortable, the curtains had some minor rips which slightly detracted from the overall aesthetic, yet it didn't hinder our experience.

The Fox in Parracombe blew me away with its scrumptious duck breasts served with a piquant sauce that’s bursting with flavour! Not to forget their breakfast—an absolute game changer with dishes tailored just for you. Plus, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax and indulge.
It’s tough to find a quibble when Craig and Aden are such fab hosts. The entrance might lack pizazz, but once you step in, everything shines with love and care.

Great food but the carpets really need replacing.

spacious room, modern en-suite bathroom, picturesque village location
Could improve by having full-length mirrors in rooms!!! A few rips in curtains detracted from the aesthetics. Small armchair addition would enhance seating options rather than just relying on the bed!!!

Friendly atmosphere with delicious breakfast options.
The entrance is incredibly shabby, giving a bad first impression. The carpets in public areas smelled musty and definitely need replacing. we could hear kitchen noises from our room, which was quite off-putting.

Had a fantastic time with friends! The food was amazing, especially the local seafood dishes. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby treasure-hunting spots. Don't forget to book a table for dinner, it's worth it!
One downside was the limited selection of wines. more affordable options would be great.

The charming village location provides a perfect base for exploring the beautiful Exmoor area, with plenty of walking options right at your doorstep. Aiden's warm welcome and attention to detail made the stay feel personal, while the food was absolutely superb—especially the duck with a tantalizing sauce and the breakfast featuring local produce. the entrance could benefit from a makeover, and the carpets in common areas need updating.
